Some secrets are hidden in ruins.
Others are hidden inside us.
In Remnants, long-buried worlds reopen and forgotten truths rise to the surface. A locket unlocks possibility. A sister challenges the rules of death. Gods hedge their answers, fae twist their bargains, relics hum with old power, and even lost memories refuse to stay silent.
Across the gamut of speculative fiction, these stories follow women who uncover what was buried—whether by time, by power, or by choice—and must decide who they will be once the truth is revealed.
Because nothing truly vanishes. It leaves remnants.
A writer is a person who cares what words mean, what they say, how they say it. Writers know words are their way towards truth and freedom, and so they use them with care, with thought, with fear, with delight. By using words well they strengthen their souls.
—Ursula K Le guin
We celebrate women authors of all genres & find strength in each other’s successes. May your writing journey be full of people who believe in you and your stories.
