The last several years have been a remarkable journey. In 2022, a group of women gathered after meeting at a publishing conference and created a support group for women fantasy authors. Some of us were already experienced, with books published and others just starting out. We began to meet monthly and share our experiences and resources.
Originally calling ourselves the Women Fantasy Authors Support Group, we have evolved into much more. Recently renamed Women Writing Other Worlds, we expanded our membership to include women science fiction authors.
Our talented group of authors is showcased on this website and in a soon to be released anthology (Fall 2025).
